Hey, I've had this knife for as long as I can remember, probably right around 10 years now. I bought this out of "The Sportsman's Guide" when I was 16! Doubt you can do that anymore.
Anyways, I don't know much about it. It's marked Explorer 11-505,
The blade is 440 Stainless, made in Japan. Double edges, with two different types of serrations. Grove down the middles of the blade, which I've always called a "blood grove". Again, I've had this knife since I was 16 (10 years) and don't remember much about the original ad. The sheath is in good shape, except the snap just broke as I was taking the pictures (talk about bad timing).
