Here is one I just finished for a client. Pre-ban elephant ivory that is double spiral fluted with sterling silver pins, my Damascus of 1095 and nickel with nickel silver fittings. Blade length is 6 inches and overall is 10 3/4 inches. Hope you like it.

Thanks for the nice words. Its fun building these but I sure worry about a drill bit breaking in the ivory for the pin holes. I go slow and clean the bit, but can still happen.
 
Wow Dan that is some fine work. I love the long thin look it has. The fluting is special too.

Excellent. Love the double flutes and pins. I am sure you work as you drill. Patience is one of the keys to great knives though, and obviously you have plenty. Jim
 
That photo does not do the dagger justice. I was visiting him when he made this dagger. The fit and finish is impeccable like all his work I have observed first hand. Keep up the outstanding work Dan.
