I have a Camillus knife with two blades. Both lock.
Knife is 41/2 inches long and the blades measure 31/2.
One blade is marked "Camillus" the other side "NY USA".
Second blade is marked "PATENTED" other side "716".
Handle is Stag. Real or immitation, I don't know.
Any info will be appreciated
Sincerely,
Sam Douglas

HI and welcome, You've come the right place for info. I own one of these knives myself.
What I can tell you is that they are no longer in production. CherylR or Will might be
able fill in more detail for you. I also know they are a darn good knife.

First, welcome to the Camillus Forum and Blade Forums! Second, Tightwad is correct in saying that the 716 pattern is no longer in production. My guess is you have the delrin (plastic)handle. The Genuine Stag, I believe, were made in a very limited amount. Either way, you have a great knife. You certainly know you have a knife in your hand when you are holding it. Sorry I don't have alot of information. But DO stop back often and visit.:)

Most "modern" knives ( made in the last 20 yrs.) have little collector value.
Double lockbacks falls into that catagory. It has very little collector value
just yet. It is ,however, a very very good everyday knife is you need one
that large. The few examples that I own in my collection are there simply
because I like them. Use the knife and enjoy it if you want to.
