Double membership??

Hello. I bought a basic level membership. Then quickly realized a gold level would be better. The option said upgrade so I thought the cost of the basic would apply to the cost of the gold, prorated. But now I see I have both membership levels.
Can I get a refund for the basic. ? Seems silly that I have paid for and simultaneously holding two membership levels at the same time.

They won't refund - the remaining time on your Basic membership gets prorated and added to your Gold. It isn't automatically done by the software... Spark is the one that can make it happen
