double post issue help/?

hi there,

this is addressed to mods/admin here. red devil warned me nicely about double posting recently. Yet, i don't know how it occurred.
I posted in the hall of shame,and when i viewed the post there was no double post there at all. today i went back to add something to the thread that i wanted known .

i noticed a message alert as i had two tabs open to different areas of BF. So, when i tried to add xtra the info to post it i
couldn't do so. then i saw that it was moved to a different area tonight, to the feedback forum. that's fine by me.

yet, it still doesn't explain a double post that wasn't there initially. So, how/why did the double post happen when it didn't exist when i 1st. posted it and later checked the thread the same day ? were it not for the fact that i did check it i would have just thought i goofed, that was not the case though.

can someone please explain ? thx.
 
One was in the hall of shame and another in Feedback. Merged them both with an expiring redirect.
 
I apologize, but honestly don't recall posting in feedback at all. If i did i'm sorry about that. thx. red devil

No problem at all. We just want to reserve the Hall of Shame area for the absolute worst of the worst. A quick look and you can see we have a dozen or so persons in there that I am amazed are still breathing or not in jail. We will help you as much as we can, but there is only so much we can do. Just let us know, and we do appreciate the heads up. Thanks for looking out for the community, that is appreciated by everyone here I assure you.
