When I submit a post - it often pauses and then asks in a pop-up "Leave this page?" or "Cancel......"

I have to click on "Leave this page" to get my post to submit.

However, about half the time it ends up double-posting.

Is there a work-around for this?
or a browser setting that needs tweaking?

I did see Esav's post in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1027824-Anyone-else-having-problems

But haven't found any solutions yet.

Anyone else having this problem?

Dan

Yep, I'm getting the same thing again as well. It stopped for a bit but came back with a vengeance.

I get it periodically as well. I hit cancel

This happens in Firefox also (currently FF19.0.2/Win7, for me). I use FF most of the time, though lately I've jumped between it and Chrome and IE9 when the site appears to be having troubles (usually to no avail). I just updated to IE10 yesterday, and need to use it for a while. Don't know what issues might come up there. The IE10 platform is very different from previous versions, at least based on appearances.

When I post a reply in FF ('Post Quick Reply' from the standard editor), or edit a previous post and attempt to 'Save' it via the standard editor, I'll often get re-directed to the Advanced Editor in the process, with the text of my post still open for editing. What's not seen is the fact that my post/edits did get posted on the first try, before being dumped into the Advanced Editor. If not aware of that, and a second attempt is made to save or post from the Advanced Editor, a double-post is the result. I've had essentially the same behavior in Chrome. I've gotten into the habit of immediately opening another tab, after the first attempt at posting/saving, and checking if my newest edits were posted to the thread. If they were (and usually that's the case), I'll just 'cancel' out of the other open editor and/or just close that browser tab. Haven't had any actual double posts in quite a while, this way, as I've intercepted them. I don't remember if I've seen this behavior in IE yet, as I haven't used that browser near as often.

i have had the same problem for about 8-9 months. sometimes clicking yes works to submit the post and sometimes not. its real aggrivating to type up a post (which i put on wordpad) and not be able to submit it. i even have the same problem on my backup pc but sometimes i have better luck on it than i do with my main pc.
