I am planning my next purchase and am looking at getting a double stud on a small classic Sebenza.

Does anyone out there have such a thing and can you actually get to the other stud for the handle slab?

I've never understood why the Sebenza does not come with a double thumbstud. This, in my opinion, makes the knife less comfortable to use and offends my sense of symmetry. Anyway, I've had the double thumbstud put on all my Sebenzas (small regular, small classic, large regular). Yes, you can easily reach the "other" thumbstud; CRK shaves away a very little bit of the frame lock (which does not appear to compromise it's strength)to facilitate access to the thumbstud.

but don´t a classic. I got the regular and it works fine. Here is some pics so you can see what The Reeve´s Crew have made to get it easier to use.

I hope it helps.

The aforementioned lock cutout does a great job of allowing enough "thumbmeat" to contact the lockside thumblug.

I too am of the opinion that Seb's should come standard with double lugs. However, from the simplicist's standpoint I suppose, why add an extra part if you will so rarely use it?

Shows the engraving as well, another nice option.

Yes I have one on my small classic and I wouldn't be without it. In fact I have the double stud on all four of my Sebenza's.

It is now on order :D

All I need to do now is to save up for it before it arrives. I feel a long wait coming on though :(

I'm sending in a couple of my woodies for the double thumblug option. I hope to eventually have this option on all my sebbies!:D
