This is the set that Peter Gill commissioned 3 decades ago. He got our local photography hero Mr. Coop to shoot the knives... typical Coop awesomeness! :D

600X hand-rubbed S30V, 416 ss guard and bolster, stabilized Afzelia burl handles, and killer Elephant inlay sheaths by Kenny Rowe.

Thanks for looking :D

Lastly, an image that shows the tapered tang on the push-dagger

Absolutely stunning set .

I don't want to blow your horn too much :D, but you'r someone I look up to and I hope to be at least somwhere close to your level of workmanship and devotion to your work. Enough sweet talking now ;).

Coop's photography really seems to show all the fine details that get lost in a not so good shot.

Once again great set of cutlery, I especially like the top view of the push dagger, must have been quite a challenge to taper the wide tang evenly.

Regards, Marcus

Nick, Thats a great example of craftsmanship! I'd like to have seen them in person. I'm sorry that I did'nt get to meet you at the Blade Show. It was an exciting weekend. You were on my "have to meet" list. Lin

Thanks guys!

Lin... yea, it was an absolutely dreadful decision not to go. You were also on my list!!! I'm glad to hear you were awarded your stamp... you must be beaming like a little kid Lin! :D

Next year my friend! :)

Beautiful work but what were you, 2 years old when it was commisioned?

Peter is a collector of impeccable taste and great foresight - he commisioned these peices several years before Nick was born! :p

Absolutely beautiful work Nick. I have a thing for matched sets, and this one is outstanding.

I could gaze at the push dagger all night examining the finish and the shapes. The knife is the perfecto compliment. What a package!

Thanks for the support, too. :)
