Do you like them? Do you need them if your right handed? Does it make the knife look better?

You'll get different opinions on this if you do a search on the subject. Some don't like them cause they hang up on their pants, but I've never had a problem with that with any other knife I've owned with double studs. I ordered a large Micarta with double thumb studs today which should be here tomorrow. - - Why ? It's a long story that I won't go into, but awhile ago I banged up my right hand from a fall while outdoors in steep country (fully recovered now). I would have needed to draw and open my knife with my weak hand which wouldn't have been quite as fast or easy with single stud, so I'm going the double stud route. 'need' - no not absolutely, but I think it could be handy. - - 'Looks' ? that wasn't a consideration, - - -

Can a single studded small sebenza be converted to a double? If so, is it a diy or does it have to be sent in? Thanks.

Usefull feature for me, it really works when I need to pull out my knife from the right pocket with my left hand. Unless you wear very tight jeans the extra thumb lug doesn't hung up in your pocket.

Here is my small regular with double thumb lugs :D

I personally prefer double thumb studs, as I am ambidextrous. I like to be able to open my knife with either hand. I will be sending my small Sebbie in for them to add a thumb stud.

Sure, - glad to be of help.

simbad - nice looking knife !

Edit: Got my large Classic Micarta with double thumb lugs today - - - great knife ! :)
