What are your thoughts on single or double lug crk's? I have been saving up for a large micarta insingo and I am hesitant on which to get. Single lug knives are cheaper however double lug knives are more symmetrical. What do you guys think?

For aesthetics I would choose single stud. Double looks too chunky imo.
For utility I would choose single stud... or maybe double... ;)

I can't remember ever using my left hand to cut anything but it could happen.

Can't go wrong with either.

I'm right handed. Never would open the knife with his left hand. Nor need it. Prefer simple.

Double if you're a symmetrical person. If you dont care about that and you want steamline then single. I prefer double.

Double every time...the only exception being involuntary, since CRK (I've read here) no longer replaces single lugs on BG-42 blades. I like both the symmetry and the utility, being a LH primary but also RH user.

I'm right handed. Never would open the knife with his left hand. Nor need it. Prefer simple.

Never had a hand injury? - lucky you! :)

Single stud should be sufficient.
If need be you can fumble around with the index finger of the left hand and then help with the thumb.
IMHO the price of the double stud should not be the criterion on which to base that decision.
This knife will serve you well and that for an extended time.

For me, its double lugs all the way. Especially for a knife you plan to use. There have been several times that I have been holding something with my right hand and needed to open my sebenza with my left hand. Double studs to the rescue. I wish they were all silver, but dont mind the blue on certain knives. Plus I think it makes the knife more uniform. I was happy that CRK offered the sebenza 25 with double studs as the standard.

Well I would say double silver lugs all the way, and since my 25 is my first with double stud's I have found myself opening left handed from time to time also.

Doubles are nice no doubt, but if I say only doubles it sounds a bit pretentious.

You can open a single with your left handed you need to. It's not hard. That point is mute to me. Double will suit You well if you plan on a lot of fondling. You may get bored opening it right handed :D Singles are simple and the standard look and just reminds me of the typical look...

Seriously though I see both sides (hah!) and is why I have single and doubles ... My opinion varies on any given day as does the knife in my pocket.

I like double lugs. Luckily the 25 has them. However, the single lug never bothered me on the 21 since I always opened it with my right hand. The double lugs are for aesthetics. I least I thought so. Just yesterday I had to open it with my left hand. That was the first time though.

I have both, and prefer the look of the double lugs. However, in use the single is all you really need. I think it boils down to a personal preference

The Sebenza is one of the knives that I do not mind with a single lug as its aesthetically appealing both ways.

Its actually the only 1-handed folder I have that has a single sided lug.

I have both and I like both. The double lug is a little easier to open with your off hand, but to me the design of the knife becomes a little more cluttered, aesthetically. On the Regulars the lock side of the scale is milled to facilitate opening. It works really well, but it's kind of an afterthought from a design point of view. I do like both, though. As a lefty, having a knife that is also useful to the right handed masses is a plus.

No preference. I like double if it comes on the knife, but never open left-handed. Function over form.
