Hey guys, what are the big differences in the double or single wall Titanium cups or products?
I realize that double will insulate more but I think I read somewhere that you can't put a double wall cup on a fire?

Double wall keeps your hands and lips from getting burned. But, it makes it nearly impossible to boil water in.

The higher end double wall stuff is vacuum insulated. The cheaper stuff has air or foam between the walls. I wouldn't be inclined to set reusable pots in the fire. Most are thin walled and easily distorted by excess heat. I have set tin cans in the fire (be sure to vent them first).

You can place single wall mugs on the fire. Actually, you can put a paper cup on the fire—as long as it's full of water. As long as the water is there, the paper (or titanium) will not be damaged.
