Have you ever owned a knife that you enjoy so much, you've gone and bought another? Just to have, sort of like "knife insurance". Just in case your favorite blade is lost, or stolen, or damaged beyond repair (very unlikely, but hey, it's possible).

I've only had a very small number of such knives, and my 124 just so happens to be one of them. Quickly climbing to my absolute favorite medium/large fixed blade that I've ever owned. I sold a pack I had forgotten I had for sale, so I now have a second 124 on the way. :D

I'd love to see any of the blades you have doubles of, especially any Bucks!

I did that with the Buck 118. I'd hate to not have a 118 to take hunting, although I could certainly use other good hunting knives I own. I have used all three of the aluminum/phenolic handled Buck 118 Personal hunting knives in this photo; only the variation with brass ends is unused - but any of the others could substitute for one if it got lost in the woods. I don't have a picture but I have two 110's and three Benchmade Griptilians. I am however giving serious consideration to selling two of the Griptilians to upgrade to a benchmade Osbourne. I just love the axis lock for edc.

Glad to see I'm not alone! Thanks for all the greats pictures.

m r merrel, what is the handle material on those 103s? Looks really nice.

I like the shape and feel of the Vanguard so I have a few of those.

Honestly the Vanguard is one of my all time favorite knives. Thinking of picking up a few more. I have knives that are more expensive and some that even see more use but it seems like I always come back to the Vanguard. I wish they would offer it in the custom shop so I could get one with a nice real wood handle. By the way nice collection there.

I will add I do have four 110's. One regular on from the mid 2000's, one older one from the 70's picked up on the evil bay, and two stag AG's.

Wow! Some dazzling knives there, guys!
I don't consider myself a collector (I only have a dozen or so Bucks), but I'd hate the thought of losing my #112 Ranger, and not have a back-up, so I do keep a couple of spare 112's squirreled away in the safe.

Don't have a pic at the moment, but I have doubles (and more) in a number of the 500 line.

The Duke, (e)Squire and 532 are my favorites.

Do 110s count? I think they multiply on their own. :D

Nice collection Makael.

Wow! Beautiful knives posted here. Thank you!

We have some duplicate knives, duplicate axes, duplicate 'hawks and a few duplicate firearms here in our home. (We did a major firearm caliber consolidation and downsizing in his and her firearms several years ago and recently too.)

I don't use anything but fixed blade knives so I gave my husband my folding knives.

He has 2 BUCK 110 knives and 2 BUCK '55' knives. We gifted our third NIB BUCK Anniversary 110 knife to a close friend of ours for his retirement gift. We have 2 duplicate BUCK kitchen knives. We have 2 duplicate BUCK PakLite knives in two different colors.

We have other BUCK fixed blade knives but they are not matching knives.

I may still get another BUCK 113 Ranger Skinner knife but I have not seen a plain one around here recently. That still remains my favorite EDC knife. Fixed blade of course since that is all I use.

There are a few models of Bucks I like more than others, some doubles, some triples and some come in sevens.....

Had to throw in this double shot of clear lake Dogs......All beef except for the double wrap of Bacon

Steel Head,

You always have such pretty knives too!

The hot dogs look good too. Yummy.

I like all beef hot dogs with mustard and onions and relish sometimes too. I like them with bacon and cheese put in the middle of them too. Throw on some mustard and onions with that 'dog' too. I love chili dogs too.
