Just recieved the above in the mail and here is another view on this knife.
I am in no way a knife expert. I have 3 Dozier's, one folding hunter and 2 other fixed blades. Have owned or had access several custom folder and fixed blades as well. Having handled several good knives here is my opinion for what it is worth.
the mini is light, well balanced gives me about a 3 1/2 finger grip. My EDC is a Benchmade folder, AFCK may be the model. Its blades and handle is longer than the MINI .
The blade is of easy using length., adequate. I like the high flat grind. The grind lines are symtrical. The Axis lock , locks tight and the action is smooth, easily unlocked with one finger. the blade is sharp and appears to b adequately strong. Blade is sharp out of the box but not shaving sharp. The blade slices extremely well. Blade design appears to be very functional and well thought out. The only downside is the hollow sounding handle ,but it is grippy and comfortable even with the small size.
Personally I think Benchmade and Mr Ritter have a hit on their hands. Have not had time to wring this little baby out but this is my first impression. I agonized whether to get the MINI or the Full size RSK. Since I am around several law enforcement agencies in my line of work and several court houses the short blade might cause less concern, and also in Ga. the 3 inch blade is I think the legal size to cause no issues.
Just my 2 cents adjusted for inflation!
