Doug Ritter personal engraving

Hi guys I was just wondering if anyone knows how the doug ritter mini grips look with the personal engraving. I have decided to buy one and am debating whether or not to have mine engraved with my name from the factory. If anyone has pics I would love to see them! Thanks

Not sure about the Ritter, but there are pictures of other knives that have been posted online with names and dates engraved/lasered into them. Since they are pretty much only available through Knifeworks, they do engraving for a few bucks more. The way it looks or will look all depends on the font, size, etc. I don't know that Benchmade would laser one of those knives, they aren't offered with the create-a-grip program.

I had an engraved Ritter. KnifeWorks did a good job on it IMO.

Laser engraving with BM is hands down solid. They nailed mine dead on every time. I look for excuses to send in my knives even though nothing is wrong with them just to have them engraved:

Thanks brother! They have sentimental value and I figure it will make it harder for the kids to sell them after I'm dead.

You can always send Benchmade knives in, to Benchmade, as a part of their Lasermarking program. See their website..

Yeah, Benchmade is doing some nice patterns on blades if you want something besides words. They can even take your own logo and put it on the knife, as i understand it.

Well if they do that, then problem solved. I didn't think they did it only on the knives they sold directly.

I tried to get them to mark "Custom design by Benchmade" on my knife (it was entirely true), but they balked at the idea.

Oh well.
