What do you think about the adjustable weight?

I read in the description that you need to apply a rust inhibitor on the blade, the laser engraved areas and the threaded tapered plugs if they are removed. I'm assuming you don't have to apply it to the plugs if you don't remove them?

It's 1095 so you gotta keep something on there to keep it from getting rusty. mineral oil or some kinda lube/ rust inhib. No different than any other becker/ESEE/ 1095.

I'm liking the looks of that one alot! I've been looking to add another Becker to the collection., my BK-9 needs a friend, and this one might be it.

I like this new bk. For me adjustable weight let you change it for different situations. I love the end of this knife.

I think I agree on the side of "gimmicky" in regards to the distributable weight in the handle. Chances are as soon as I receive mine, I'm not ever going to change the weights at all. I have yet to pick up a Becker handled knife and not liked the feel/weight in my hand. So instead of using its full out name of Doug Ritter RSK, Mk2 Perseverance, is it legit to simply call this thing a BK12?

Well, I've had this blade in my shopping cart at KnifeWorks since it first appeared. Finally pulled the plug and pre-ordered it. Hopefully, it will ship soon.

Vin
