I've just ordered this knife..
This new Magnacut folder (3.44' blade length) employs an ABLE lock, and the grip thickness is listed as 0.65".
I'm an old Spyderco nut, and the famous Spyderco PM2 (similar blade length) has a grip thickness of 0.45".
So, my question is .... WHY the greater thickness of the Doug Ritter models?
Perhaps the Doug Ritter ABLE locking mechanism requires the added thickness....??

Thicker because it's designed to be a folding field knife, not an EDC The thicker handle is more comfortable in heavier usage.
I speak from experience.

Let us know how you like it because im on the fence of ordering one as well
It's a very well built knife and a great design. Fantastic in the hand. Nice balance. Great blade shape.

I did sand the G10 where the clips rest on it in order to prevent them from tearing my pants. Clips are back on and it's good to go.
