I am about to order a Doug Ritter RSK Mk1 and was wondering if it would be worth it to go with the M2 steel? It will be an EDC if that matters. Thanks!

I received my M2 Ritter on Friday. Excellent knife. I'm not a big "steel snob" type of guy, so I can't say there's a huge advantage between one or another. I just like the overall package.

I am not a fan of black bladed knives. BUT, with THAT said, if I had the money, I WOULD but one. Although, I AM perfectly content with the S30V one I have in my pocket!!

My M2 large rittergrip will arive wednesday, my small is still on order. That said they are a limited edition, 200 of one and 300 of the other, so if you are going to order one you should do it soon.

I've owned BM Grips, and while the shape of the handle didn't suit me, they were very good knives. As for the M2 -- I've been extremely pleased with its performance on my 710HS.

Sulaco,
I don't have any experience with the brand but I do have a couple of M2 tool steel knives. They take a whicked edge and hold it for some time but if you let it get too dull then they are a bitch to resharpen without haveing a diamond stone.

FWIW, ciao
