I have decided to search for a Benchmade Fixed Blade to accompany my Griptillian as a EDC set. I always wanted to check out Doug Ritter blades and I came across the Dougs RSK MK3. Aside from the sheath (which I had hoped to be kydex but its not), anyone familiar about this knife? Any feedback will be appreciated.
I also looked into the Fixed blade Contagos and they seem to be all reversed tanto shaped blade (which I dont mind). How would the two knives compare? I suppose that the Contagos had a longer blade. I am leaning towards the Dougs RSK MK3 but I wanted to hear some opinions before I follow through. I noticed in youtube, there are only couple of RSK MK3 videos. And I did not really learn much out of them (one was in Russian langauge).
If anyone have any suggestion as to other Benchmades fixed blades, I am all ears (...or eyes). Also, I would prefer small to medium sized fixed blades, and not the very large fixed blades . Maybe I should wait until the 2016 models of fixed blades become available? Not too sure how long the RSK MK3 has been out or if their are better upgraded fixed blades around similar price range.
