Hey guys I was just wondering if there are two different sizes for the Douk Douk Squirrel knife? Some websites say it has a 3 and 1/8 inch blade and other websites say it has a 3.5 inch blade. I was doing some research on the knife and can not seem to find that there are two different sizes (only looks like the 3.5 is made) but I could be wrong. I'm planning on buying one but I really like the 3.5 inch blade, and the website i'm getting it from says it has the 3 and 1/8 inch blade.
Just wondering if you guys know if the Douk Douk squirrel models come in different sizes.

thanks guys.

It might be the same knife with different sites measuring the blade differently: point to back of edge, point to front of handle, point to pivot pin... There might also be some rounding up of small fractions going on. Not that I know.

There are at least two different sizes, one bigger and one smaller. I have one of each :)

I should know by now to google before I speak. So "squirrel" just means there's a picture of a squirrel on it?

The squirrel models have a swiss army knife blade shape and a nickel silver handle (opposed to the darkened regular one). They also have a picture of a squirrel on them too ;)

I just measured mine. From bolster to tip, it's 3.625" and from the ricasso to the tip it's just over 3.125".

Thanks for THIS information. I just lost mine which was 3 3/8" and need to replace it and I was confused by the 3.125" listing. I can order now.

BTW, I have a lot of upscale knives like everyone else has, but I have gotten to the point where simple design and utility reign in my life. Thus, the Douk Douk has to be replaced.

There is a baby squirrel too. I picked one up in Paris. Same size differential as between the regular douk douk and its baby brother.
