Wow, Panch...you're a lot younger than I thought you were :D. Glad to see you and boys had a good time.

Sounds fun! A couple of real handsome sons you've got there, glad you got to spend some real quality time together.

One question though, what do you do with those little bitty things?!?! Well, I'm sure you BBQ 'em :D But they look like about two bites :p

Where's dad's catch for the day???? :)

Breast of dove on toast makes a nice lunch !! We have dove in NY but no season.
Nice to see kids brought up properly !

I used to average about 7-8 per box of shells. I "let" my boys
fetch birds which they had a ball doing. A DOVE SHOOT here is a social
event with meals and lots of back slapping and BSing. I am sure your
sons had a ball

Some dove hunters across the road woke me up today. :grumpy:
My neighbor plants his front yard in sunflower seeds so his brother-in-law can come and shoot the doves it attracts. Which is fine, I just wish they wouldn't do it at 7:30 on a sunday morning...

Yeah we've got them up here too, great fun for the dog, marinade 8 hours in
teriyaki dressing bacon strip and slow on the grill-- not bad.
Ken.
