I'm stuck at work watching the sun rise wishing I was out after Dove. :grumpy:

Post up your pics and stories. I'm going to have to add mine later unfortunately.

Hey Nate,

I brought Gracie on her maiden hunt. She did fine. She loved trying to catch the shells flying out of my gun. It did get her to look up and she actually saw a couple fall and she nabbed them. 2 I had to walk her to the general vicinity, and she rummaged and found all we dropped. I loved my dog prior to this hunt, but now love her even more. I sucked at shooting, but took a lot of low percentage shots because that is all I got sometimes. I forgot my camera (left it in the truck) on the first session which is when most shooting happened. I only grabbed a few of Gracie in the field, no one around to take a shot of dad and I, and we were both tired, and not in the mood for pictures. I regret that I did not take a couple of us. I have not gotten my dad to go for many years, now we will try to do it annually. I really had fun. We were by Davis and Hobbs road north area of the Wister hunting area, east of the railroad tracks and the 111. 5 yrs. ago, I limited out by 9 AM. I promise to load pics of Gracie tomorrow, once I get some rest.

Good luck.

I made it out last night with my boys after work & football practice. We only were out for about an hour but managed to shoot up a box and a half of shells between the three of us. We only got four birds but had fun.
The only pictures we got my wife took. Then we held the camera out and did a self portrait. I could see lots of white spots.

Here are some pics of my dog.

That is all that I took. I should have been better at photos.
