Have not seen anything regarding this show so thought I'd put in a few words and images.

This show is an annual event of 2 day duration with a nice dinner at the Dutch Valley Restaurant--the finest of Amish home cooking plus some awards generally followed by an evening of viewing the carvings of Mooney Warther narrated by his grandson Dale Warther. This latter is something not to be missed.

The show has production knives, custom knives by makers and dealers and often a few collectors displaying and/or selling some other their collections.

I have attended 4 of these shows and found them to be enjoyable. This one was a bit slow and people packed up a bit early each day but it was a productive one for both purchasing

This piece is by James Shaver and is a forged 5160 7" blade OAL 11 3/4" with the S guard and spacers of blued mild steel plus spacers with filed brass work encasing a Sanbar Stag handle with Curly Kua wood at the guard and butt.

and photos.

I'll put a few images within this text but more info can be found at

on this page there are 2 albums. one with show/dinner images and one with knives photographed using the portable tent system discussed here and in TKCL and CKD.

The knife images at the show tables were done by the same Nikon 995 digital camera, hand-held at 1/4 sec f 2.8 100 ISO. Some adjustments were made in the photo editing software.

Rick Hinderer has created some tacticals called Firestorm with the Fire Department in mind. He is a Firefighter and knifemaker.

the Firestorm and closeups of Spark can be seen in the Knives of Dover Album.

here is the display of many Sparks--just what this Forum owner needs

that should give you a taste. take a look in the albums and see some great knives by Bub Worrell, Greg Gotschalk, James Shaver, Tom Downing and others plus other highlights of a real nice show that any knife collector can come to each year and have a great time.
