Heck I didn't know Schrade were no longer being made, this one I found by the Rio Grande in El Paso.I cleaned it up,too bad it has a crack on one scale up top.It says China at the base of the blade.:thumbdn:

I'm a Buck guy now days but here's a USA model my daughter gave me a few years ago.I bet I have some more Schrades out in the barn somewhere.:eek:Right now this is the only way to post photo's,it keeps saying database error.:o

That Jim Zumbo knife looks like a workhorse. Don't be a stranger. If you have some more Schrade knives dig them out of the barn.

Yep it's a beast,I carried for awhile but didn't use it much. The sheath is huge even compared to a Buck 110 sheath.I may have more of them, lol time to clean the barn. Thanks thawk

skyhorse, the first knife has some real nice scales.
Yeah edbeau,I found it by the black bridge notorious for smugglers.I cleaned it up some and thought it was a pretty cool knife until I noticed it was made in china.I have no idea what the scales are,it looks sorta like burl wood.

Must be desert iron crotch wood. Thanks for the info, aggiebuilder2003, nice scales and now I know what it really is.
