I, too, am glad the forums are back up and running...
and I thought it was my computer all along!! (been having problems with our desktop lately...)
My brother and his girlfriend visited last week. First time in over a year I have seen him. Finally took some leave and he, his girlfriend, my wife and I went all went to the beach together and had a nice week off!!
The boar hunt with tomahawks is on for next spring/summer! We are talking about doing it over spring break next April/may since we both will be in college and the other members of the party (mostly agricultural folks) will be busy any later or earlier. We plan to go down to Flordia and use our tomahawks (or other "chosen" weapons) and kill us some wild pigs!!
I gave my brother my Brend that I carried through the war. He was really impressed and, even though it needs touched up (from hacking off padlocks and chains!), he loved it! He works for our home county's conservation system and works daily "in the bush." He'll get more use out of it now than I will....
As for using my tomahawk lately...I sit with it on the couch and stare at people when they come in my front door. A Coors Light in one hand, my custom Lance Hawk in the other and wearing nothing but a smile...man...did that ever scare my wife one night!!
