I saw a couple of knives from another lister a few months ago made by Peter Marker from Australia. They were nice enough to warrant my attention, and subsequently I placed an order for one. At the time he told me it would be about a five-month wait. Well, he gave me a pleasant surprise with a callback in just over two. Here's what we worked on:

Of the four sizes he offers, this is his 'Mini' which is the second smallest. 2.5" Damasteel blade, titanium anodized bolsters and liners, Gidgee wood scales with my choice of a little mokume insert.

All-in-all it is a very nice quality folder for under $200(US) delivered. I'm quite pleased with it. Solid lockup, quality constuction, stainless fasteners, smooth opening and includes the pouch and special tool for adjusting or cleaning his pivot.

Thought I'd fill you in on my latest score.

Peter emailed me to thank me for this thread, Apparently he has gotten some mileage out of it. As well he should.

It's all good! Thanks for the comments.
