Are they still in business? Was it a company or strictly a collaboration? They made custom fixed blades like the DKC Companion.
I'm looking at a Companion. Nice looking knife but cant seem to find any info and the DKC website doesnt come up.
I did see that Scott Tanguay Custom Knives still sells them and the Companions on his site still say Downeast Knives on the blade.
I realize he was one of the Downeast partners along with Lamont Coombs.
Is that collaboration/company over? Just wondering for warranty or support reasons.
