Downsizing, help me pick one!

I need to downsize my collection in preparation for Blade and because my collection has been trending further upmarket.

One of the tough decisions I need to make is between my Caly and my Chaparral.

The Caly is a 3 inch carbon/zdp model that I got in a trade. I posted a thread on it a while back because it has a polished blade. I've been carry her on and off since I got it a few weeks ago and I like the knife.

My Chaparral is a BNIB Chaparral 2 titanium with the stealth texture. I was afraid to carry is because it is so pretty but that fear has faded. If I keep it, she will be a user.

Whichever I don't keep with either get traded or sold.

I would like to keep one, small back lock Spydie in my collection so I may also decide to get rid of both of them to get a Fluted Titanium Native 5.

Thoughts?

Choose one:

1) Get rid of the Ti Chaparral and use the Caly. The Chaparral is too pretty to be used
2) Get rid of both and get the CF Chaparral instead, which is slightly less pretty and good for using

You're welcome :)

Fixed it for you...

Man... Now that is a dilemma. Good luck. Since ZDP is my steel of choice, I would go for the Caly. Really though, that is tough, tough enough that you had to post this thread! Maybe sell both and get the 3.5 ZDP? Hah, sorry I don't think I am helping here.

Maybe I should redo the first post and turn it into a, please help me choose one small back lock Spyderco for my collection.

Ti Chaparral
Fluted Ti Native
ZDP Caly 3
ZDP Caly 3.5
Damascus Caly
Regular Native 5
S110V Cf Native 5 (though I am not looking for peel ply carbon fiber)

Jeez, that list is like the creme of the crop.

If pressed, my top two would be the N5 S110v, and the 3.5 ZDP

The list should be the cream of the crop. I am moving my collection upmarket. It's going to have to compete with a William Henry EDC-10 for pocket time.

I think it is coming down to either keeping the Chaparral or ditching both and trying to find a Damascus Caly.

I'd keep the Chaparral, but that's just because I think it looks better.

And don't forget about the green G10 S110V N5 Spyderco Forum Knife.

First of all IMHO, one knife cannot do everything. So here we go.
Out of your list.
1. For EDC S110V CF Native5 (out of your list I would get Forum Native. The same steel, will be released sooner, less expensive and for me looks better).
2.For dress-up carry Damascus Caly3 or Ti Fluted Native, if you can find one
3. For collection: Forum Native is most unique, Damascus Caly3 or Ti Fluted Native are best looking.

I would keep them both and buy the native.its a collection you dont get rid if the cream of the cropand how small is you're house you need to make room?trust me if you get rid if one you will buy it again later.u can allways use more knives just gives you more in you're edc rotation.

Well like I said. I am downsizing. I'm looking to get rid of a lot of my $100-200 dollar knives so I can move up market. Not looking to go down to one knife but the only thing I am keeping in my collection I think are going to be:

ZT0560, ZT0301, S35vn PM2, Hogue EX-02, both William Henrys, Blue Bone Kopa, and possibly the Chaparral Ti Stealth.

Everything else is expendable.
