Can anyone tell me how much this knife is sold for? I can't seem to find Bob's website. Any opinions on this knife will be appreciated.

TIA

here is a link to ag russell. http://www.agrussell.com/dozier/dk-at1bc.html

$169 is the standard price. i have owned one and it is a very stout knife with handles that fit well in the hand. i like the blade grind and shape although it may not suit some cutting/skinning jobs. great kydex rig but i never got comfortable wearing it as a shoulder knife, i prefer the belt clip, just me...dmc

Greg, Bob's website has been down for some time now. The only way to reach him is by mail or phone or AG Russell usually has a good supply of Dozier knives.

There is a sweet version that Patrick has at Triple Aught Design over in Oakland, in A's colors, no less! (Eight Strait

It's a great little knife & my favorite small FB (a step up from NKs, that is). Bob's original cross draw sheath is good for belt carry but I much prefer the MCS sheath that Normark made for me.

Cheers,
Brian

Kodiak,

This is your lucky day. KnifeArt.com has a contest going where they are giving away a Dozier Arkansas Toothpick on July 4th. Be sure and tell them I sent you.... (they don't have a clue who I am, I just always wanted to say that!)

I own several Doziers but not the Toothpick, probably won't be too long before I get one though, as I plan being the Winner of the one that KnifeArt is giving away.

But seriously, great choice on the Toothpick. Bob's Knives are great!

If you want his Shop address and Tel# number just send me a request and I'll email it to you.

Im in the minority but I bought one from AG Russell a few years back and I didnt care for it. I thought the handle felt to smooth and to small. I dont have very large hands. Meaty but not especially large. I learned not to like the double edge on something so small as something in this size range lends itself to utility. Pick up one if you can from someone who has some kind of return policy. I sold mine on the forums. I like Bob Doziers stuff just not particulary the toothpick.

I felt the same way about the Toothpick. The Agent is just as strong, just as tactical, and makes a better utility knife IMHO.
