I finally found a Buckhunter with a clip. I had one and sold it several months ago. I really liked the Buckhunter and when I saw this one I jumped. Should be here tomorrow via UPS Sat. Delivery. If this is like the last one, and it should be, then it is quite a heavy-duty knife. Anyone else out there with a Dozier folder to report on? Will report back when the Buckhunter gets here.

Just got the Buckhunter today ( MONDAY ). Ordered it from Knifeart and Larry sent it Saturday delivery via UPS. According to UPS the address did not exist on Saturday but today it does! Go figure.
Enough about UPS. the Buckhunter is a stout knife. Still got the thickest slabs of titanium I have seen on a knife. Nicely thick blade with a high hollow grind that gives a razor edge to it. Comming from Bob Dozier, it naturally has D-2 steel. The locking system is really neat with the liner making contact against the blade tang at all points. The blade is simply rigid when open, no movement at all. Blade centers when closed which is a big pet peeve with me. Bob makes a heckuva folder. BTW the clip is just right as it allows for deep carry with the minimum amount of knife showing. Clip looks a lot like the older MT clip and is two screw clip. Just a well built, strong as all get out, knife!

I heard that, Art. Just took delivery on mine from Bob a week or so ago. Right hander with a clip. A sizeable folder, but seats deep in the pocket and is easy to retrieve. The thing though is how darn SHARP it is. I've used mine cutting fibrous newspaper bundling straps a number of mornings, and there is absolutely no loss in sharpness. Still pops hair. No great surprise. My two other fixed blade Doziers are the same way. The guy just knows SHARP.

...........since i just picked up my 3rd Buckhunter I thought I would resurrect this thread. I somehow keep selling off these Dozier BH's for some reason. This third one is the charm, I hope. This is a great heavy duty folder that isn't to big to carry every day. I really like the thick blade of D-2 that has a high hollow grin to ake it a great slicer. The clip point gives it a variety of uses to boot. The tablock system works as great on this one as it did on the other two, rock solid lockup with nary a wiggle. Great knife! :D
