I had the pleasure of getting on the Dozier Bushcraft passaround. I did a simple review on the knife. I had to cut out a few of the pics cause you can only post 10 in a thread and I had 20. Overall it was a great little knife and I would love to have one when they come out.

When I first got this knife I couldn't put it down it was such a great feeling little knife. The balance and ergonomics were really nice. It was very sharp and I couldn't wait to use it. My first uses where in the kitchen.

Overall feel - Knife felt great in the hand. Great balance and ergonomics. Fit and finish were awesome. Like everyone else said, the handle does feel a little thin, it could be a little thicker.

Food prep- It was really good in the kitchen and cut flawless. The blade was really sharp and cut everything with ease.

Making feather sticks- It could wood and made feather sticks and curls very easy. It would cut through the wood with ease and one of the best knives I've used so far for this task.

Firestarting on a ferro rod- I used the spine of the knife, which is perfect on a ferro rod. There were really big sparks and lit the cotton with the second strike. The spine is really sharp and is perfect for this task.

Edge retention- This is my first experience with D2 steel. I used it to cut a lot of food, made a lot of fuzz sticks and curls and it was still very sharp. I didn't sharpen the knife at all and I really pleased with the edge on this knife. I'm really impressed with the edge on this knife.

Sheath- The kydex sheath is really nice and very tight. Did I say the sheath was very tight. You don't have to worry about loosing this knife while wearing it. I like how you can adjust the loop on the sheath for almost horizontal. This was great for wearing under you shirt and you cant tell there is a knife there.

Overall- Really impressed with every area I tested this knife. Its a great little knife that is the perfect knife for the outdoorsman. Very good balance and great edge retention makes this knife a winner. I hope for this to be my first Dozier knife. The only thing I would suggest to make this knife better is to make the handle a little thicker. My hands are small and a thicker handle would make it feel a little better in the hand.

That knife looks excellent, I think I'd have a hard time passing it on. Nice write up and pics.

Glad to see my lanyard is still on there Banana! Great review. It is nice to see all of the reviews on the knife have been very consistent. Now we just need to get them going on the new camp knife!!!

I wondered who made that lanyard, it was a good one too. I'd love to see a camp knife made by Dozier.
