I just got a set of custom Doziers made to carve with. Set them some drawings and had them custom made. Already been putting them to use.

Those look great. The handles and blade shapes look perfect for carving. And Mr. Dozier makes one heck of a sharp knife. Nice scores.

Those are classics. I love it. Not only will those work great but they'll be more and more valuable over time too.

What was the turn around time on something like that with Bob and did they run a lot more being special order? I'm not expecting you to say how much but just curious.

STR

The turn around time was not bad, I kind of forget when I ordered them. Cost was a little more than standard models, but I supplied the wood and no sheath. Well worth the wait.

Keith, Here's a pic of some wooducks I carved not long ago.

duckman1,I finally get to see one of your birds (finished).I'm kinda speechless,I knew they'd be awesome, but that is really fantastic. Thanks for showin',and the knives too.It looks like the carver with the fatter handle, would be pretty comfortable in the hand.Bob Dozier has that aspect of the knife in yor hand down. You handle his knives, and the feel is there, real good.Gotta love those Dozier Knives!! Good stuff here in this thread!

Thanks for the compliments. The Dozier carvers will make it even easier. Fit in the hand just perfect. And the d2 will cut down my sharpening time. It stays sharp almost forever.

Thanks for posting the great knives and I dig your talents. Great idea to have Dozier do these carvers for you.
