Ok, ok, we don't want you to go nuts :)

I had this on my harddrive as Dozier Keating...not sure if this is what you are looking for though...

You might want to drop a line to Arizona Custom Knives...I got that pic off their site but it appears to have been sold (both the knife and AZCK :) )

TRy asking the guys at BladeArt. They might have one still on file. I believe they recently sold a Dozier Crosada.

That picture is not a Crossada, but is instead a Keating designed tanto made by Bob Dozier. I had one of those tantos from Dozier, sold it to a good friend of mine, and now he wont sell it back to me! For accuracy purposes, the tanto has a blade of less than 7", while the Crossada is huge, with a blade of at least 12". Sadly, I dont have a picture of a Crossada either.

Normark, a sheath maker here on BF, used to have a pic of a Dozier Crossada on his website, along side a sheath. I don't know his web address, but you can do a web search or go over to Shoptalk and look around, I think he posts there some.

That's very cool...but I thought it was made by Blackcloud knives???

Somebody had to step up and fill the void...Ernest Mayer (sp?) has retired, or so I heard :(

On the flip side, Bob Dozier makes good using knives at reasonable prices :)

Okay Guys, here goes the scoop.
The Crossada was only made by Bob Dozier. It was designed by James Keating in what he said a fighting knife should be like. It had removable quillions , a blade catchers, double edge( to use the back cut,BOWIEand Spanish style fighting). I had seen the prototype back in 1995. There were different sizes made depending on your size, and hand size.

Ernest Mayer of Black Cloud made similar knives like the Crossada. His FB5 is an outstanding knife based on what James was teaching the public on large fighting knives.

The Crossada 2 is the current model is being made by maker Wendell Fox. The new one is forged steel and doesn't look much like the original one. This is what James intended to be IMHO

Go to James's web site. Http:www.jamesakeating.com to see the Crossada 2 and link to Mr. Fox's page.
Hope this help
