Am looking for some actual experience with this knife. Saw a few at the NY Show and met Mr. Dozier and his wife, whose hand I hope is healing after she sliced it during the show. The opening stud seemed very rough and I thought it could easily hang up on clothing, but Mr. Dozier showed me otherwise, so that point was taken care of. As for the dual cut-outs on the frame--one is the lock-up, the other is the release--I am interested in the top lock-up portion. Mr. Dozier explained that this type of lock-up allows the blade to have a finger guard because the frame can accommodate a wider tang without the usual cutouts that are necessary to engage a bar-type stop. Does this system hold up? I failed to find out what steel type he uses for the blade, and since his web site is down, can anyone help here?

Thanks.

Bob uses D2 on all of his knives. The grind work on his knives are superb. Did you check out the hollow grind on the ti folders? The edge geometry on them was beautiful...incredible little cutting machines. I was going to buy one, but i already spent my money elsewhere.

The dual liner lock system seems fine. The little folder was obviously not built for heavy use, so stress problems shouldn't really be a concern. I have no experience with the knife, but I have 3 Doziers and at this point, I trust the man's work.

If you are looking for a great pocket knife, get it. i know I will order one as soon as I accumulate more knife money.

Those double intregals were very smooth opening. If anyone's interested Triple Aught has a picture

I have one and they're Grrrrrrrrrreat. I also have one of his fixed blades, which is very nice too.
