Does anyone here have any experience with the "BullDozier" Ka-Bar?
I know that it is made in Tiwan and uses AUS-8 steel, either of which I am not so crazy about. I am so used to seeing "D2" on a knife with Bob Dozier's name on it.
There is a big differance between the custom Dozier ($395+) and ($112) for the Ka-Bar version.

Thanks for any comments!

I have one and it's well build. The handle is very confortable offering a good grip and the sheath is great. I also sharpened the false edge. I used it for bushcraft and it's not bad. It's not a true chopper but in need it does the work. In general it's a pretty good knife...at least in my own opinion, I like it a lot. Hope this help's...cheers!!!

I don't have the BullDozier. I have one of the Dozier folders in AUS8, also made in Taiwan.

I found it sturdy, well made, and consider it a a good value at the price they ask. Won't hold an edge like D2, obviously, but I thought they did a decent job with the AUS8.
