Is the Dozier loveless style mirror polished to pretty to use? I contemplating using this as my goto hunting knife. What's everyone's thoughts?

If you wanna use it, use it. Should you decide to clean it up, it can be repolished.

I know there are other custom knives that look amazing, this is my first one. I was having a hard time deciding if I was going to use this knife, but today that changed. I took the knife out to my parents house (they live on a farm) and got a chance to use it. I used it every opportunity I could. Much to my surprise it didn't even receive one scratch! Btw, the mirror polish on this blade is amazing! Also the grinds, fit and finish are nothing short of spectacular. I traded a hinderer xm18 for this and I couldn't be more happy.

We were all polishing out blades out to a mirror finish back in the 70's because we were all using the Rhodesian 440C, the best ever made. Any competent knifemaker can repolish your knife back to a mirror finish easily.
