So the Dozier phat bob has disappeared off the face of the earth, is this because people think they are a major collectors item? Or is it that they are a really solid EDC user, and no one wants to give one up?

I have been chasing one for months and just cant find one anywhere!

Months? I've been chasing one for years!

I think your answer would be a little of both, solid EDC user and collectible.

It's been discontinued. I thought I wanted one until I got to play with it. It did not float my boat, too "clunky". I did not like the empty cut-out for the pocket clip that was needed to make it ambidextrous. I love the Dozier in-set clip, just like the knife to be either left or right handed, not both.

I have heard that some liked it and others not so much.

If anyone did have one that they weren't sure they liked, I would be most grateful to take it off they're hands in return for cash and

some real nice handle block material......

Bob Dozier had a number of them for sale on his tables at Blade. But they have been discontinued. I have one. Never used it. Not sure I even like it. You do mean the one manufactured by/for KaBar, right?

Yes sir that's the one. I would happily take it off your hands if you would like to sell it.
