Picked up the 3" Thumb Hole Dozier for no particular good reason (like many of my knives :)); really fine little inexpensive all around knife, excellent lockup, light, nice blade shape and all that sort of thing, but I somewhat surprised to say this is about as sharp as any knife I've ever held, and certainly must be the sharpest out of the box I've ever received!

I absolutely can't get an edge on most any of my blades to equal it. Just thought it was worth a comment. Carry on.

Thanks. It's worth the comment. I've been on the fence about getting one. What bothers me is that I'm not sure if I want that one or a fat bob LE, which is hard to find. The regular fat bob doesn't do it for me.

Another vote for the little dozier. Very sharp out of the box and a great light weight utility.

AUS-8 can get very sharp with little effort and also cut like the dickens I've always thought that for the money the Doziers seemed to be exceptional values.

That did it, just chucked one into the Tomar basket. Orange handles with thumbstud.

great knife !!

yes very sharp
(possibly sharpest out of box ive ever had ?)

i have been using mine pretty hard every day at work for the last few months .
wont hold an edge as long as my tenacious but gets back online alot faster.. hone it every other day on a chefs steel.
