While I am an enthusiastic user of Morseth laminated steel knives made by Dozier (with his semihollow ground edge), Mr. Dozier made (still makes??) knives under his own name that were nearly identical copies using a proprietary material of his version D-2 sandwiched between 410 stainless steel. Since manufacturing pattern of grind, edge, geometry are - I anticipate - nearly identical, I wonder how these two blade materials compare in edge holding, impact resistance, and ability to withstand bending - the toughness emphasized in Morseth's advertising?
