Some of the folks on this forum wonder how DPx products are developed, tested and used. You have seen pics from Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and now Burma/Myanmar. There are number of ethnic liberation groups fighting the dictatorship of Myanmar from remote jungle bases. This is the Karen National Liberation Army. Their combat/utility knife of choice?

The DPx H•E•S•T of course.

The images are not appearing for me. Just a box and red x.

EDIT: I can see them now. Thank you!

Interesting way to carry the knife, horizontally on the right side of the LBE.

To see the picture, I had to paste the link into my browser.

Edited to add: Crap! I missed the one where he lashed it as a bayonet on his AK!

Great photos. Interesting to see images from around the world of a lifestyle many of us will never or ever hope to experience. A real eye-opener. Thanks.

the photo are great but its an interesting way to carry indeed.. i would not carry it that way that for sure

WOW!! Thanks for sharing the picks...especially the ones from Myanmar. Every time I read anything regarding the Karen Freedom Fighters, it reminds me of Rambo4 and I wonder if anything has really changed for the better in the past few years.

haha, guerrilla armies all over the world are going to start showing up on the news with these wierd little black knives mounted everywhere, leaving a trail of where RYP has been. Ope, that Liberian freedom fighter has a HEST, RYP has been here...

That will become all sorts of lost and useless after a few rounds heat that barrel up

Nice to see the pictures but it looks like it would get in the way of shouldering the weapon.
