I just received the DPx HEAT Black Milspec G10 Ti Frame Lock with Sleipner steel and I am very impressed with the knife in spite of the fact that have barely put it to much use due to the weather. I have two questions about the knife. The segment of the bottle opener closest to the pivot is at an angle on my knife–meaning it is not exactly perpendicular to the spine of the blade–is that how it supposed to be? And, is the G10 side of the handle entirely made of G10 or does it have a steel–titanium or otherwise–liner reinforcing it?

I've got the same knife, love it. The opener is normal and there is no liner. However, the g10 is thick and the knife is very well built.

I've already got a few scratches on the G10-side of the handle and I can clearly see silver under the black. Is it possible there is some sort of embedded liner?
