DPx HEST fixed blade

The ESEE version are. RYP is now making his own version. Check his website.

lol gimmicky? as are most popular "tacticool" folders on the market ;)
i love my hest fixed blade. i received one second hand with the silly prybar rounded off and its the bees knees now :)

But the HEST fixed blade wasn't all black, didn't use "tactical" in the name and only had one skull, which was RYP's logo for such products already...

it has coated blade, built in prybar, wire breaker/"cutter" lol, handle storage for survival goodies... and for gods sakes a bottle opener/pot lifter. its plenty tacticool :D

You guys can make fun of it all you want. I have an ESEE version I bought specifically for the prybar to use on the jobsite. I'm in the middle of a 100 yr. old building remodel and it gets used every day and I really like it. The prybar tip is very convenient.

Yeah RYP had that interesting meltdown and I suppose it is kind of tacticoool but it's also a great Rowen made knife.

I love my HEST. I don't EDC it, but it's seen some carry time. Never could figure out what everyone was complaining about. It didn't jab, stick, or poke me or anything else it wasn't supposed to.
