Hi there all

I'm trying to catch a serialiezd limited edition of the HEST folder
and so I sent a @mail to RYP at "askryp@comebackalive.com", it was july 27, but I didn't hear from him yet.

Can anyone let me know whether I'm just a bit too impatient or may be he's off for few days or may I didn't use the right adresse for my request.

Its you being abit impatient , July 27th is like 3 days ago man :D ...They're first slated for release in December, and the prototype will be out in September.

For the serialized versions you need to watch www.dpxgear.com, thats where they are going to be sold.

You can also read through the other HEST folder threads here on BF, all the info you need is in them.
 
I was hoping for a time that the site would accept pre-orders... I won't be able to sit here all day hitting F5 on the DPX site... :-)
 
Tuesday is the day that the www.dpxgear.com will start cranking up. The web developers are working through some things. Last time we had people hitting the same number at the same time and the internet gods were not happy. We have plenty of time on the reservations, we will give everyone plenty of notice and it will be first come, first serve on the numbers.

It is better to make sure everyone knows when the reservation system goes live in advance than to spend a month unraveling gltiches.


I don't/won't respond to direct requests to reserve/change/hold/cut in line etc.

And no you can't email me 100 dollar bills to reserve a spot! :))
 
RYP - will you be able to get any lefties in that first batch you'll offer? (don't care about #'s)
There are several of us that have stated we'd want a lefty version.
Be neat to get it right from you.
 
That's a good point. I will have to figure which numbers are conducive to lefties!
 
nah we wil rummage through the rejects and cross out Left "Left Over" with a Sharpie. Wouldn't a real fighting man want one in each fist?:))

You don't need a separate model for lefties. They can just hold a regular one upside down. Or something. I can never remember how to use right-handed scissors with my left hand ...

just reserve the ones with primes for serial numbers - those of us in our right mind can appreciate that kind of humor. (1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, etc...)
 
Unequivocal proof that left handed people are more manly than righties. It came from Wikipedia so it has to be true.

It suggests that variations in levels of testosterone during pregnancy shape the development of the fetal brain. Testosterone suppresses the growth of the left cerebral hemisphere and so more neurons migrate to the right hemisphere. The highly developed right hemisphere is now better suited to function as the center of language and handedness. The fetus is more likely to become left-handed, since the right hemisphere controls the left half of the body.

This also came from Wikipedia, so it must ALSO be true :D

So after the initial 250 special run, how long after is the wait to just get a regular folder? I wouldn't mind having one of the first 250 but, its not that big of a deal to me.
