I have a Sleipner steel Hest. I carry it sometimes, and it is still shiny, but it has been very cold, and I have not been sweating. How does this steel hold up against sweat and general humidity?

I've used my Sleipner HEST fixed blade in a lot of wet areas and never had a problem. I don't carry it in a way it could be sweat on a lot. Over time I think I've noticed the Sleipner to be a bit more susceptible to staining in general than some other steels though.

With only 7.8% chromium, it isn't going to be "stainless", although I would expect it to be somewhat more corrosion resistant than carbon steel.
I get spots on my D2 blades, and D2 has 12% chromium.
