Hello so i recently have been looking into dpx knives. I fell in love with the dpx hest triple black. Can someone give me they're experience with them? And how good their serrations are? I was going to get a hold out 3 but i fell in love with dpx. I usually don't like combo edge but something about the those serrations have drawn me towards them. And can someone tell me about the niolox steel they use? I want to get the hest triple black as my first dpx and if i like it i plan on getting an urban or one of the smaller knives. I don't use my knives for hard use for the most part, but i just like knowing what it's capable of just in case.

I've had my T3 for 5 yrs and it has never let me down. The serrations are easy to sharpen as well. Niolox takes an excellent edge and is relatively easy to sharpen. I definitely recommend it. Good luck with the search

Do you think the serrations get in the way or work fine ?

They work very well. The edge is perfectly in line with the serrated edges. Makes for easy cutting n sharpening as well. Probably my favorite style of serrations.

Thank you for answering my questions. I think I'll go with the serrated model, cause why not lol
