The release of the DPX HEST knife is upon us. It appears that the current knives (first 250 serial numbered and signed) are by invatation only.

I received my invitation and just ordered #5 & #6 from the DPXGEAR website.

Good luck to everyone else on getting one of these super knives.

how do you get an invitation? I went onto the web site and there was a buy now button, of course I didn't click it as I have a pre order already.
 
I also thought Robert was keeping #1 thru #5 for himself, at least that is what he said on the discussion forums over there a while ago. I am not doubting you, just asking
 
#4 was available as well, but someone got it before I could add it to my cart. I guess he decided to keep only 3.

I contacted the www.comebackalive.com website's store and asked about the pre-order a couple of months ago. If you want one, you better contact the store and ask.

And I don't care if you doubt me or not. I'm just letting everyone know the sales are going on.

I don't doubt you bro, and I appreciate the heads up, I just tried clicking on the buy now tab and it asked for a password but there is no place on that site to register so who knows. Can someone tell me how much the non RYP Hests are going to go for?
 
The username and password comes in the email with the notification of your selection for special access to purchase.

I have no idea how much the non-numbered ones will be. You might contact a Rat Cutlery vendor.

I dunno...it might be a tossup between that one and that guy that has the girl holding up 2 Busses in place of a bikini top....


And the challenge begins for someone to do it with an RC5 and an RC6!!!

(Or 2 Izulas. That would be better...:D)

Oops! This is going to get interesting. I just ordered #6, and have a receipt for it. Just went back to the site, and it is showing #6 is still available.

Must be a snafu at the site. I don't really care what number I get - just took #6 because it was the lowest number showing.

I went on the website earlier today (must have been right after it was put up) & all 250 were available. I took 1, 2 & 3. Cool knives!:thumbup:

I know, I went back and saw number six still available after I ordered. I emailed them about it. First come first served, lol.

I got am email from the web folks at www.comebackalive.com handling the issue involving knife number six. They've resolved the issue and as my order had been placed first I would receive that knife.

They said they would offer you another knife or a refund. Sorry dude.

Pelton and I have been going back and forth all morning via email. They are suppose to be removing the login and password deal from the site.
