I have hade a HEST 2.0 for about one year . I like the knife very much. It would make a very good tool . Very good for the money.
 
I carried mine today actually. I like it mostly because it comes in a left hand model. It can open a beer and has a glass breaker which can be useful (opening a beer more than breaking glass). It has a VERY thick blade, So cutting performance suffers a bit. The roto-block lock is a nice piece of mind if you are going to abuse it. Fit and finish are very good. It carries very deep in the pocket (nice). Overall a good "hard use" folder if that is what you are looking for.
