Looks like the dpxgear website is back up with an updated countdown clock. It seems that Dec. 12 is the day to wait for. I don't know about you guys, but I'm freaking excited! It's gonna be a nice Christmas this year.

Will Dec. 12 be the day that they are shipped out?

The suspense is killing me!
 
Dec. 12 2012? That's when we'll all need one for the start of the zombie apocypse! Lol

Despite the fact there's still more than 11 days on the countdown timer, I can't seem to close the page...it's like staring at a fire. :D

I had not seen the line of it being in stock by Dec. 10th. Hopefully that is the case. I agree, I cannot stop looking at the darn thing!:thumbup:
 
well december 12th isnt too bad of a wait. as long as i get mine before christmas i will be happy. :D
 
Only found out about Esee knives about a month ago, reading about the 6 a rider to Labrador had in his kit. Looked them and up and now...

1 Izula neck knife, 1 with a pocket clip, 1 in my Ural, a pink one for my wife for Christmas and a HEST fixed blade. Also on order is a 5 and I just paid for the HEST /F, I think #189.

Very addicting!
 
I think the folders are leaving Italy on the 10th or 12th...still weeks away from when we'll all be flipping them open and closed.
 
I got a status email from Dale and he said they should ship out of Italy around mid Dec (12th-ish) then by the time go through shipping and and the system they should be available about the beginning of Jan sometime.
 
Do you think that date is for all production runs? Will the limited edition still ship first? Any inside info. would be greatly appreciated.
 
Although I'm not holding my breath, I am still hoping to get my sterile HEST/F this year.

I'm guessing that the countdown is the date that the knives will be shipped out of Italy, and seeing as the LE dont need to go through a dealer, hopefully they'll arrive before the end of the year.
thats my take on it anyway.
 
Oh man. I feel like a little kid over here. I'm dying to get this knife! I was under the impression that it would ship (to customers) before Christmas. I suppose I'll survive the holidays just fine with my Emerson, but it sure would be easier with the HEST Folder!
 
I was under the impression the countdown timer is actually a real time data tranmission (or "brown" ops suppository) chip implanted in its host, presumably RYP, that transmits the countdown relative to where HE is at any given time.

Which would explain date erratic behavior of the countdown timer as of late..
 
Dale who, and is he associated with DPXGEAR or RYP? If you are talking about a vendor, he is most certainly talking about the regular production version going out to vendors.

My guess is the limited first production will ship sooner.
