Small Hunter from Neil Blackwood - D-2 blade - Curly Koa(from MAYO) handles with mosaaic pins.

wonderful little hunter that is designed to be used but looks fabulous. Neil's blades are ground to perfection - clean lines with nice satin finish. Sharp as all get-out & just feels great in the hand. Neil definately knows what works for a using knife - don't want to put it down! Finish work is above good - if you could find anything to fault(I doubt it on this one) it would take a jeweler's loupe. Tom sent him some real nice wood - handles are eye-catching in person. Perfect size for daily carry utility use but would handle any skinning activity you could ask of it.

Ooooh…very tasty! I love the lines of Neil's work; his knives always seem to have a distinctive character to them that I find really appealing. The small hunter model is just about the perfect size…I have one of Neil's small tac/utility knives (a variant of this pattern) and it's one of my favorites. Nice catch, Bill!

Those Curly Koa handles are GREAT, even if they came from Tom...;) Another beauty from Neil,

Enjoy it!
