Just been blown away mentally

I am elated, stimulated, excited, and aroused
Montana elk handle - Big, like Kuma's ( Montana??)
Dragon inscription inlayed with golden metal..

Difficult to do this blade justice - need lightbox to capture too much detail.

Nice blade. Does anyone know what process they use for inlaying all that brass? Do they use melted brass? How do they melt brass? I've got a Khadka with small bits of inlaid brass. Its pretty, but I worry about it falling out. What is the nature of the bond between brass and steel there? Is it just mechanical, or is there a stronger bond?

Andy if it's done like the Sword of Shiva the brass is pounded in. Then when the blade is polished the steel overlaps the brass just a little and I mean a very little bit by the action of the buffing wheel, microscopically if you will. Actually it should hold up quite well although I would prefer it not be inlayed if I were gonna use it.

Isn't there somewhere on the HI website that shows the inlay process on the SoS or am I thinking of somewhere else?
