Hello gentlemen, I show some photos of a folding knife, a project that came from damascus have in hand. That went in search of a pattern in particular as a result we got this piece, which is called "Dragon". They were ten days of missed damascus and many experiments, but we could salvage was successful.
The blade long is 122mm made in 15n20, 1095 and 5160. The release button is ambidextrous made in copper.
The folder is a linerlock of 267mm open, with bolsters of damascus with a bas following the pattern of the blade, forming the head of the dragon.
The handle sides are cocobolo, and the spacer has a filework called again dragon.
Stainless steel screws are darkened.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. Thanks for looking.
Saludos, Javier & Marcial. VdS.

that's really neat. Like the thumb opener a lot. I think it's a very cool looking knife, and well made, too. I personally really like forged blades, and you don't see a lot of that in folders.

very kewl looking Damascus. just undecided whether changing the color of the flame in the bolster is best. This is overall a very nice and striking piece of steel and a clean folder.

That is a beautiful piece -- love the bolster contrast.

Had it on my hands during the Nova Petropolis Show in Brazil. It was nice to hold it and to meet Marcial and Javier.

You can´t tell by the pictures but this baby is BIG! You could call it an elephant toothpicker...

That is a great looking knife. The damascus is stellar as is the cocobolo and filework on the spine.

Pleasure to see it.
